The CDG-2000 Countdown Generator provides IRIG CS-3, IRIG CS-5 and MILA countdown time outputs.
The unit operates in two basic modes. One as a countdown generator synchronized to an IRIG-B123 time code signal and the other as a slave, translating an IRIG CS-3 input to provide the IRIG CS-3, IRIG CS-5 and MILA countdown outputs.
The operator has complete control over the operation of the generator using the front panel keyboard and LCD display. The unit is programmed to be user friendly and allow operation by an inexperienced operator. A menu approach along with HELP screens guide the operator in performing his tasks.
The unit can also be operated remotely using a personal computer with a serial port and the software provided.
The CDG-2000 is housed in an attractive and rugged rack mount aluminum enclosure.
